Halloween Snake Charmer Costume Hair and Makeup via Keeping Change

A few days ago, I showed you how I put together this snake charmer costume for Halloween. Check out the below tutorial to see how I did the snake charmer hair, head wrap, and makeup.

Start with your hair in a high ponytail. Tease the ends of the hair to give it some volume before pinning into a messy bun. Place the center of the scarf over your forehead and cross the ends of the scarf behind your head. Cross again in the front and tie in a single knot. Tuck the ends into the sides of the wrap and voila!

For the makeup, I covered my lids entirely in a gold shadow. I used a black liquid eyeliner to create an exaggerated cat-eye on my upper lids. I set the liquid eyeliner with an angle brush and some black eye shadow. I lined the insides of my lids with a black pencil liner and covered my eyelashes with black mascara. I filled in my eyebrows with a dark shadow and an angle brush and used a neutral lipstick to finish.
