Everyone loves a good date night, right? My BF and I certainly do. With that said, we have been trying our very best to be smart about the financial impact of our date night activities. Coming up with fun ideas that are still inexpensive (or free!) has become a really fun challenge and Friday night was no exception!
We found out about Jazz at LACMA through my BF’s sister and decided to check it out. What a cool experience! Every Friday night at LACMA different jazz musicians play from about 6-8pm (or at least that’s about how long the music lasted when we went). If you arrive early enough, get yourself a glass of wine and find a some seats and a table right in front. You can also set up a picnic blanket in the grass at the back of the pavilion while listening to the music.
We arrived a little later (after 7pm) because we went to nearby Rahel’s Ethiopian for dinner first (highly recommend!). After the band played their last song, we headed over to Milk Jar Cookies to satisfy our sweet tooth (because we hadn’t indulged enough already…) and ended the night right!
